We work to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution, war or disaster at home. Since 1950, we have faced multiple crises on multiple continents, and provided vital assistance to refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced and stateless people, many of whom have nobody left to turn to.
We help to save lives and build better futures for millions forced from home.

Jordan Training and Development (JTD) is an independent, local, non-profit organisation established and run by young, experienced professionals who believe in our humanitarian responsibility to refugees and meeting the needs of Jordan’s local communities. Our work began in July 2015, founded on the belief that Jordan’s greatest resource for growth is its people and their talent. We believe that the diverse groups of people in Jordan can reach their full potential through being linked to quality resources and opportunities relevant to their situation, allowing them to take ownership of their wellbeing.
